The New Patriotic Party’s (NPP) chairman of the UK branch , Kingsley Adumata Agyapong, popularly known as Wofa Kay has described the former General Secretary, John Boadu as an institution of the party.
Speaking on Movement TV with Kwaku Dawuro, Mr Adumata stated he declared his support for John Boadu because he believed in his vision and  experience.
‘’Unfortunately the elections didn’t go as planned but I believe Justin Koduah is another great person who can lead the party. I personally went to his office to congratulate him and assured him of our full support. If my candidate didn’t win does not mean I should sit somewhere and criticize the person who was elected. I have invited Justin Koduah for NPP UK’s 30th anniversary’’, he stated.
He added that “John Boadu is doing well now and I commend him for contesting. He has become an institution for the party; we must squeeze him for the party’s benefit. He has a lot of positive substance in him which will be useful for election 2024. I have encouraged him to support Justin Koduah when the need be so we can all break the 8”.
He went on to congratulate the newly elected executives and stated the grassroots are happy now because they have voted for the change they have always wanted.
He advised party members to seek the interest of the party against their individual interest.
