A communications team member of the ruling New Patriotic Party(NPP), Kafui Amegah, has stated that but for free SHS, the NDC had always been spewing lies and propaganda to confuse the minds of Ghanaians.
He said that the NDC should take advantage of the free SHS and go back to school to acquire knowledge because they lack it.
This comes after former Finance Minister, Dr. Cassiel Ato Forson had alleged that between January and June 2022, the Finance Minister Ken Ofori-Atta and government went to the Central bank and they encouraged the Bank of Ghana (BoG) to print money worth 22 Billion. “They have printed 22Billion Ghana cedis fresh money without the knowledge of Parliament and without informing all of us”, Dr. Ato Forson alleged.
But speaking on Movement In The Morning Show with Kwaku Dawuro, Kafui Amegah asked, “how do we hide something in a document we’ve presented? It’s strange because it is within the remit of the law for the BoG to grant overdrafts and support to the central government without printing money. They should take advantage of the free SHS initiative by President Akufo-Addo and learn”.
“If you don’t understand the job of the finance minister then draw closer to him and learn”, Kafui Amegah told the NDC.
