The General Secretary of the ruling New Patriotic Party(NPP), Lawyer Justin Kodua, has emphatically stated that President Akufo-Addo is determined to revive the Ghanaian economy in the next 2½ years.
He made this known during the 30 years anniversary’s media engagement of the party which was held during the early hours of Thursday, July 28, 2022 at the head office in Accra.
“As a party we knw and acknowledge the current situation the country finds itself however the NPP sees this current challenges as yet another opportunity for the party and government to do what it does best and get the country out of the difficulty its facing currently and trust the Akufo-Addo government that indeed we shall recover. As indicated in the budget by the Finance Minister, Ken Ofori Atta, President Akufo-Addo is determined to revive the economy in the next 2 ½ years. I beg appointees to put in much effort to earn the country’s love.” he said.

“We appeal to all members, executives, loyalists and sympathizers to be guided by the history and learn from what happened to us when we were not united. When you feel like taking on a fellow party member, when you are undermining a fellow party member, when you tell yourself you will not go out and campaign or even bother to vote, think of 1979, think of 2008, and the pain that we went through.”, he stressed.
