Director of Communication and Spokesperson for Dr. Bawumia’s campaign team, Dennis Aboagye, has explained that Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh’s competence, humility and hard work made him an ideal choice for the running mate nomination.
The ruling party’s campaign team has announced Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh as the nominated Vice President of the Republic of Ghana. The announcement was made following a meeting between the National Executive Council of the party and the National Council on Thursday.
Speaking during an interview on phone with Kwaku Dawuro on Movement In The Morning show on Movement TV, Miracles highlighted Dr. Opoku Prempeh’s impressive track record in the education and energy sectors, citing his instrumental role in the successful implementation of the Free SHS program and his efforts in resolving the power challenges that Ghana faced a few months ago.
According to him, Dr. Opoku Prempeh’s competence, hard work, and humility made him an ideal choice for the Vice-Presidential nomination.
“Dr. Opoku Prempeh is a results-driven individual who delivers on his promises, and his appointment will bring a new level of dynamism to the campaign team”, he told the host.
The official introduction of Dr. Opoku Prempeh as the Vice-Presidential nominee is scheduled to take place tomorrow at 2 pm at the Kumasi Jubilee Park in the Ashanti region.
The event is expected to draw a large crowd of supporters and well-wishers from across the country.
With this nomination, the ruling party is poised to capitalize on Dr. Opoku Prempeh’s popularity and achievements to boost their chances in the upcoming elections.
