The Ashanti Regional Chairman of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Chairman Wontumi, has expressed unwavering confidence in his party’s ability to emerge victorious in the 2024 general elections.
Unveiling the flagbearer of the NPP and the running mate, Dr Mahamudu Bawumia and Dr Matthew Opoku Prempeh at the Manhyia Palace on Tuesday, Chairman Wontumi asserted that the NPP has demonstrated its readiness for the elections by conducting successful internal polls from the polling station to the national level.
He taunted the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC), stating that they cannot stop the NPP’s momentum, unlike in 2008.
Chairman Wontumi boasted that the NPP has multiple strategies to secure victory, declaring, “We have one million ways to win the 2024 elections, and we are ready.”
As the regional and campaign chairman, he expressed his optimism that the NPP’s organizational prowess and the achievements of the current government will propel the party to victory.
His comments have been seen as a rallying cry for NPP supporters and a warning to the opposition that the party is poised for a resounding win.
