The Director of Communications for Ghana Gas, Ernest Owusu Bempah, has announced that the company will be undertaking critical engineering maintenance from August 1st to August 17th.
According to Bempah, the maintenance is aimed at enhancing the safety and efficiency of the plant’s operations. He assured the public that the shutdown will not affect the overall power supply, saying “we regret any inconvenience that may arise…stay assured that there will be no ‘dumsor'”.
Speaking to Kwaku Dawuro on Movement In The Morning show on Movement TV, he said that the maintenance is expected to involve changes to the plant’s machines, with Bempah emphasizing that the safety of the facility and its workers is the top priority.
