Traders and residents in the Ashanti region made several calls to the government to ensure work resumed, with some threatening to embark on a demonstration to press the government to release funds for the resumption of work.
After over a year of abandonment, work has finally resumed, and the traders are excited about it.
However, they have expressed concern about the timing of the commencement of work, especially as contractors have not been able to provide timelines for completion.
Traders are thus calling on the government to ensure swift completion of the work.
