Founder and leader of Heaven’s Gate Ministries, Prophet Nicholas Osei, widely known as Prophet Kumchacha, has invoked curses of death and illness on government officials and traditional leaders involved in galamsey in Ghana.
Prophet Kumchacha, in a fiery pronouncement, called for divine retribution against any Ministers, Members of Parliament (MPs), or chiefs who are complicit in the destructive practice.
The controversial preacher expressed frustration with the ongoing environmental degradation caused by galamsey and the government’s silence on the matter.
He blamed the prevalent galamsey issue on the greed of influential figures who he believes are at the center
Prophet Kumchacha called attention to the pollution of water bodies particularly River Pra and the degradation of forest reserves in the Sehwi enclaves.
His call for divine punishment, the only way he expressed belief will ease the frustration Ghanaians feel.
