Alleged Fraudster, 22, and Girlfriend, 19, Burnt to Death In Kasoa

A devastating fire incident has claimed the lives of two young individuals, Kwabena Osei, 22, and Princess Analey Ayentey, 19, in Adom Estate, Akweley, Awutu Senya East Municipality.

The incident occurred in the early hours of Thursday when unknown perpetrators allegedly poured petrol around Osei’s room and set it ablaze. CCTV footage captured the suspects, but their faces were obscured.

According to reports, Osei was involved in fraudulent activities, using Ayentey as an interpreter to scam foreign victims.

Ayentey’s mother, Madam Felicia, revealed that her daughter had been warned not to visit Osei due to her menstrual period but sneaked out to assist him with a call to his scamming client abroad.

Osei’s mother, Sister Esi, described her son as peaceful and unaware of his alleged involvement in fraudulent activities or his relationship with Ayentey.

Awutu Senya East NADMO Director, Kwame Amoah, confirmed that CCTV footage has identified the suspects, and NADMO will support the police in apprehending them.
