The Black Stars of Ghana are set to fly to Luanda later today for their upcoming match against Angola on Friday, November 15.
The team began preparations on Monday with their first training session at the Accra Sports Stadium, where eight players were in attendance.
On Tuesday, the Ghana Football Association (GFA) confirmed that 14 more players had joined the camp, leaving only Ebenezer Annan yet to arrive.
After concluding their training session on Tuesday evening, the team is now ready to depart for Luanda. Upon arrival, the Black Stars will hold a training session on Thursday ahead of the match.
In terms of squad changes, Thomas Partey has been omitted from the squad by coach Otto Addo. Other players, including Inaki Williams, Antoine Semenyo, and Joseph Paintsil, have also pulled out.
Ghana will face Angola at the Estádio 11 de Novembro, where the Palancas Negras are already qualified for the tournament.
The Black Stars will return to Accra after the game to complete their qualifiers against Niger on Monday at the Accra Sports Stadium.
The Black Stars currently sit in third place in Group F, with only two points from their four matches, trailing both Palancas Negras and Sudan. They are aiming to qualify for the 2025 tournament in Morocco against all odds.
To qualify, the Black Stars must win their remaining games and hope Sudan loses their matches against Niger and Angola.
