Former Communications Director of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Adomako Yaw Baafi, has expressed confidence in Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia’s chances in the upcoming elections, stating that the Vice President is “bathed in victory.”
According to Baafi, the NPP would win both the presidential and parliamentary elections if they were held today. However, he cautioned party members not to relax but to work hard to secure victory.
Lawyer Baafi urged Ghanaians to reflect on the achievements of Dr. Bawumia and President Nana Akufo-Addo, emphasizing that voting wisely in this year’s elections would pave the way for even greater progress.
He celebrated Dr. Bawumia’s position as number one on the ballot paper, urging citizens to vote for him regardless of personal opinions, saying, “Whether you like Bawumia or not, vote for him; he is number one.”
He also revealed that by 11 a.m. today, Dr. Bawumia would be introducing electric vehicles into the country, a move he described as transformative.
“There’s nothing Bawumia has promised that he hasn’t delivered,” Baafi claimed, highlighting the Vice President’s track record of fulfilling commitments.
He added that the new electric cars would alleviate transportation challenges across the country.
In contrasting Dr. Bawumia’s vision with former President John Dramani Mahama, Baafi criticized Mahama’s earlier comment that he was “no magician to create jobs,” questioning his ability to deliver meaningful development.
Baafi concluded by describing Bawumia as a leader who resonates with the people, drawing massive crowds wherever he goes.
