Prioritize Job Creation And Stop Being Disloyal- Godfred Frimpong

President of Tescon-KNUST, Godfred Akwasi Frimpong, has indicated that the administration of President Akuffo Addo successfully employed 200,000 health workers over its 8-year tenure.

Speakin in an interview on Wontumi morning show with Forkuo, he noted that these health workers were previously unemployed from 2008 to 2016 under the administration of President Mahama. However, they were employed during Akuffo Addo’s first and second terms, marking a significant fulfillment of his job creation pledge.

Frimpong emphasized the importance of job creation, particularly for the youth, and urged the government to continue working towards fulfilling its promise. He also expressed concerns about the economic hardship in the country, especially among tertiary institution students and the youth, due to the government’s freeze on employment.

“The government must prioritize job creation to address the economic challenges facing our youth. The employment of 200,000 health workers is a testament to the government’s commitment to job creation, and we expect more efforts in this direction,” Frimpong stated.

Frimpong attributed the country’s economic challenges to the alleged disloyalty of President Mahama and the NDC government. He concluded by advising Ghanaians to be vigilant in the 2028 general elections and to demand accountability from their leaders.
