NDC Has Not Awarded Any New Road Contract – Ralph Osei Poku

A communicator for the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Ralph Osei Poku, has clarified that the National Democratic Congress (NDC) has not awarded any new road contracts. Instead, the NDC government is working on existing contracts initiated by the previous NPP administration.

In an interview with Wontumi’s Morning Show, Osei Poku stated, “NDC has not awarded any new road contract.” He emphasized that the NDC government is merely continuing with old contracts rather than awarding new ones.

Osei Poku also highlighted the NDC’s proposed plan to stabilize the dollar exchange rate, which involves establishing a committee to review dollar stability and promote the 1D1F policy, initially introduced by the NPP government.

Furthermore, Osei Poku suggested that the NDC government should focus on sustainable gold reservation practices rather than just selling gold. He emphasized the importance of tracking tons of gold acquired and ensuring that the appreciation of the dollar reflects positively on the economy and Ghanaian market.
