Refusal on the part of former President John Mahama to participate in a dialogue that was designed towards electing Metropolitan, Municipal, and District Chief Executives (MMDCEs) through the ballot, makes him a “political Judas”, Chairman Wontumi has said.

Revisiting the issue on Movement TV in a studio discussion with Oheneba Nana Asiedu, Chairman Wontumi stated that the process hit a snag because Mr. Mahama told legislators on the side of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) to absent from the process.

“President Akufo-Addo invited all former Presidents to join him in taking that decision making but Mahama who is a ‘political Judas’ told his NDC MPs to abstain from the process”, he said.
