A communications team member of the ruling New Patriotic Party(NPP), Francis Annom Boateng better known as Fransoa has commended President Akufo-Addo for the numerous projects he’s executing as part of his recent tours of the 5 Northern regions and the Central region.
Speaking on Movement In The Morning Show on Wontumi Radio/Movement TV, he indicated that despite the economic turbulence, the President is still working to ensure Ghanaians do not feel the global crisis.
“There’s no country that hasn’t felt the brunt of the global crisis. It’s very sad when people compare Ghana to other neighboring countries like the Côte d’Ivoire, forgetting that the Francophone countries’ economy is governed by France and therefore end up getting support and cushion- therefore that comparison is flawed. For example, if Britain had been doing the same for us too, then they would have cushioned us up as economies around the world are suffering”, he told Kwaku Dawuro the host.
He added that “I will therefore commend the President for the Factories and other numerous projects he’s executing in these hard times. The NPP is a party with a vision because despite the global challenges we are still focused and doing exactly what is expected of us”.
This comes after President Akufo-Addo had begun a two-day tour to the Central Region, where he inspected the Kasoa- Bawjiase road and commissioned the 1D1F Gas Cylinder Factory in ChoChoe and on that same day, commissioned another 1D1F Lubricant Factory in the Gomoa East District at Fetteh and inspected the Agenda 111 project in Gomoa Afransi in the Gomoa Central constituency.
