The Former Member of Parliament of Okaikwei constituency, Hon. Ahmed Arthur, has advised the leadership of certain Ministries to ensure that the over 70% of the achievements made by the ruling New Patriotic Party(NPP), must be continuously broadcast live on Television for Ghanaians to know what the party has been up to.
According to him, the Government has been able to achieve a lot within its time in office but the projections or the promoting of the projects for Ghanaians to know has been low.
He told Kwaku Dawuro on Movement In The Morning Show that ” One sector that is huge in all that we are doing is the Ministry of transport due to the harbors; and then you come to the Ministry of Trades and Industry; also due to the One District One Factory(1D1F) initiative. If the Government is able to package all it has done including other support it has given to small business operators, then which other message will the NDC bring that we cannot face? Mind you, the party will be going out there to campaign and therefore we need a message to campaign with”.
“Therefore, the aforementioned Ministries and the Ministers should start packaging their projects so that we can continuous air them on TV and I know Wontumi Multimedia will be glad to do that- so that everyone will know that since the assuming of office by the NPP government the declarations, promises, visions made by the President have been 70% achieved”, he added.
In conclusion he said, “so if a President comes and announces its vision, and has been able to achieve about 70% of those visions, then you don’t joke with such a President or even that Party because the feat wasn’t achieved by the President alone- hence the reason he said he has the men. He has the best eye view of what is happening in his governance”.
