The New Patriotic Party’s (NPP) Greater Accra Regional Director of Communications, Sabo Adams, has stated categorically that Sam George’s stubborn academy was backed by former President John Dramani Mahama.
His comment comes after former President John Mahama said the National Communications Authority (NCA) blocked his sim card for two days although he had already registered his sim card.
Sabo Adams speaking on the above said that ‘’Mahama saying his sim was blocked shows he did not register his sim card before the deadline. The Ningo Prampram Member of Parliament’s (MP) stubborn academy was backed by John Mahama. Sam George did not form the academy on his own. Ghana cannot afford to have a stubborn leader’’.
The NCA directed the Telco’s to block incoming and data services of unregistered sim cards starting from 5th September, 2022. In the recent directives, all unregistered sim cards have been unblocked to allow the receiving of calls, and accessing data services, however everyone is encouraged to register their sim cards.
