The Member of Parliament (MP) for Asunafo North, Hon. Evans Bobie Ansah, has revealed that the Goaso-Akrodie road was captured in National Democratic Congress’ Green Book as a completed project but took the New Patriotic Party(NPP) to make the project a reality.
He said this on Movement In The Morning Show with Kwaku Dawuro on Tuesday 20th September 2022.
Hon Bobie Ansah said that ‘’the first time the Akrodie road was leveled with a grada was during President Kufuor’s era, meanwhile NDC’s indicated it in their Green book that the road has been completed when they had done zero work on the road. The road only appeared in the green book. The late vice-President, Amissah Attah once visited Akrodie but had to park his convoy and come by foot. But before he left Accra, he was told the road had already been fixed. Today the NPP’s have worked on 20kilometres of the road after we made an emergency call to the president”.
He added that the second phase of the road will be completed in due time.
