If You Believe In The Words Of The NDCs; You Are Not Far From Believing In ‘Satan’- Patrick Awuku

A communicator of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP), Patrick Awuku, has said believing in the words of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) is similar to believing in ‘Satan’.

Speaking with Kwaku Dawuro on Movement In the Morning Show, Mr Awuku said that ‘’NDC’s have said NPP went to parliament to pass the National Identity Register Regulations, meanwhile they the NDC’s were the same people who passed the law in 2012 under President Mills’ government to become the sole card for every registration, including the registration of the voters ID cards. I dare them to come out and say they didn’t pass the law”.

In furtherance he added that ”I am not surprised of their U-turn. I always say if you can believe in the words of the NDCs, you are not far from believing in satan himself because they will say one thing today, and say a different thing tomorrow.  That has been their style- how can they pass a law and come back and pretend as if they know nothing about the process. If it was a mistake they made, they should come out and say it”.

He explained that the Ghana card will not replace the voters, rather it will only be used for the registration of the voters ID card, adding that the Ghana card is a general card for all transactions.
