CEO of Big Ideas Consultants, Kojo Poku, has cleared that no artist billed to perform at the Global Citizens Festival was paid.
Kojo Poku said the event was charity-driven, and everyone who contributed to its success did that out of a willing heart.

However, he added that all artistes will benefit immensely from the exposure.
Kojo Poku explained that Global Citizen is a charity organization with a network of world leaders and influential personalities. And people who contribute to it use it as leverage for other beneficial projects.

When asked how Ghanaian artists were sorted for the event, Kojo Poku said all organizers suggested performers to the talent wing of Global Citizen. They did their checks and selected the ones they saw fit.
