Ghana’s Industrialization Agenda: President Akufo-Addo Has Changed The Political Narrative- Asiedu Kokro

The deputy National Director of Communications for the New Patriotic Party(NPP), Asiedu Kokro, has applauded President Akufo-Addo for giving a different perspective to the political narration in Ghana.

Speaking to Kwaku Dawuro on Movement In The Morning Show he said that ‘’politics is not about building schools and constructing roads only – it goes beyond that. Ghana currently has 66 factories across the16 Regions. After the overthrown of Dr. Kwame Nkrumah in 1966, no government has focused on the industrialization agenda than the current regime led by President Akufo-Addo. The NPP government  has 278 factories of which 125 factories are already working.  Brong Ahafo Region has 5, Ashanti Region has 54, Bono East has 10, Bono has 19, Central Region has 19, Eastern Region has 37, Greater Accra has 76, Northern Region has 6, Oti Region has 3, Savannah with 4, Upper east with 7, Upper West with 6, and Volta with13”.

”We have set the record. Toyota, Nissa, Volkswagen, and Sinotruck have assembly plant in  Ghana, and Twitter’s regional headquarters for Africa. This tells you the deliberate agenda President Akufo-Addo has for the country”, he added.

He advised Ghanaians to keep their hopes high.
