Gospel musician, Abena Serwaa Ophelia has expressed a heartfelt desire for greater unity and love within the gospel music industry.
In an interview with Adom FM’s Entertainment Hall, she stressed the need for unity among industry professionals.
“I would promote togetherness in the industry and mutual support. In life, we should pray for everything to be positive. I would also encourage us to rejoice in each other’s success, as it will bring us happiness. By praying for our friends and supporting them, we can foster a sense of unity, which pleases God. Love is necessary in the industry as it enables us to help one another, and not just some of us.”
She highlighted the need for genuine support and happiness for each other’s successes, urging her colleagues to pray for one another to project the work of God.
Ophelia believes that while there is some level of mutual support within the industry, not all of the do.
“We help each other, but not all of us,” she noted.
The gospel musician recently released her latest song titled ‘M’aseda Dwom’.
The song premiered on July 7, 2024, at a grand launch in Accra.
