The Vice Chairman of Diaspora for Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, Baba Awal has categorically stated that about eighty per cent votes of the external branches of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) will go in favour of Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia.
Speaking on Movement In The Morning Show on Movement TV/ Wontumi Radio, he noted that NPP delegates in the diaspora who will partake in the electing of a flagbearer have fully endorsed Bawumia as their next Presidential candidate.
He explained that the full endorsement is due to the digitalization agenda of the Vice President.
“I can categorically state that Bawumia is getting an eighty percent endorsement from the external branches. This is a man who has done a yeoman’s job for Ghana with his digitalization agenda. Look at what he’s done with the introduction of Ghana card, Digital Address system, Paperless system at the hospital, the Mobile Money interoperability for which today you’re able to send money through your phone across the world at your own convenience and this has really helped grown our economy as a country”, he told Kwaku Dawuro.
He stressed that these are all policies that have been implemented abroad and he believes the Vice President learned from abroad.
“Ghana has a bright future with Dr. Bawumia”, he said.
