Accra Hearts of Oak have commissioned a state-of-the-art commercial centre. The centre will be mainly used for commercial events and will also house a Phobia store and a match ticket centre.
In attendance were Club Board Chairman, Togbe Afede XIV, and various Board members including Dr Nyaho Tamakloe, amongst other dignitaries.
The commercial centre is the first part of a four-step infrastructure project to modernise the club.
The steps are as follows:
- Commercial Centre
- New Head Office
- Pobiman Sports Complex
- Dedicated football stadium
Togbe Afede explained that the current Board has been in place for 10 years and needed something to show for their efforts, he added the ambition was to bring Hearts back to the top:
“We are redefining the values of our club to reattain or pre-eminence in African football”
He added that building this centre was one of the first in the country but was expected from the Phobians as:
“Innovation is part of our DNA”
