A member of the NPP communications team, Alfred Ababio, has criticized the National Democratic Congress (NDC) for failing to implement the Ghana Card during their eight-year tenure.
According to Adenta Kumi, former President John Agyekum Kufuor initiated the Ghana Card registration process, but the NDC failed to continue the project when they took office.
Speaking on Movement In The Morning Show on Movement TV/Wontumi Radio, Accra, with host Kwaku Dawuro, Kumi highlighted the progress made by the NPP government, stating that over 18 million people have registered for the Ghana Card under President Akufo Addo’s leadership.
He also emphasized the benefits of the credit scoring system introduced by Dr. Bawumia, which enables qualified individuals to secure loans for business purposes.
The government will serve as the biggest guarantor for citizens through the credit scoring policy, Kumi explained. He added that the NPP’s focus on the private sector is evident in Dr. Bawumia’s credit scoring initiative.
He advised government appointees to step down and work, as their appointments are contingent on the NPP’s continued hold on power.
