Broadcast Journalist with Wontumi Multimedia, Kwaku Dawuro, has asserted that Kennedy Agyapong had ‘bribed’ a constituency chairman on the Kwaku block prior to the super delegates conference of NPP.
Kennedy Agyapong had earlier alleged that some regional chairmen got as much as Ghc100,000, Ghc150,000, Navaras, Toyota Prados prior to the super delegates conference.
However, speaking on his show Movement In The Morning show, Kwaku Dawuro responded to such allegations noting that “there are about five constituencies on the Kwaku block in the Eastern region, and I can confidently tell you that there’s one constituency chairman out from these five constituencies who received a pickup vehicle from Kennedy Agyapong prior to the Super delegates conference, and he’s currently Kennedy Agyapong’s coordinator. Was that not a bribe? Why then do you turn to cry foul play…”, he lambasted him.
Although Kwaku Dawuro didn’t categorically mention Kennedy Agyapong’s name but from all indications, Kennedy Agyapong appears to be the target.
“Someone thought he was richer than Dr. Bawumia so he could scare Bawumia with his money…but in Politics and political campaign, we need to know that it is not solely financed…if you are credible and people believe in your vision and candidature, they will come and sponsor you…”, he furthered.
