The Volta regional Secretary for the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP), Pope Yao Yevoo, has told the Member of Parliament (MP) for Adaklu, Agbodza Governs to applaud Pres. Akufo-Addo for the numerous development he’s brought to district.
He said it is during the tenure of the NPP under President Akufo-Addo that the district had a youth resource centre, Police station and a bungalow for the commander. For the first time in the history of Adaklu, they now have a tarred road.
In an interview with Kwaku Dawuro on Movement In The Morning Show on Movement TV/ Wontumi Radio he said that “during the tenure of the NDC under late Rawlings, the was a roads minister from Adaklu and yet they never had a single tarred road. This is the reason for which the indigenes and the Member of Parliament should be thankful to the President and the NPP”.
“Agbodza should be clapping for Nana Addo because he is seeing massive development in his area…This is someone who has been a critic of Nana Akufo-Addo and his government but all the major development he’s seen in Adaklu is kind courtesy the same government he criticizes. Take out the development and Adaklu will become a village”, he added.
He stressed that Adaklu has benefitted from NPP than any other district in the Volta region. Meanwhile, Adaklu is a place that has given the NPP lesser votes yet always receiving loads of development.
