Morning show host on Movement TV, Kwaku Dawuro, has posed a pressing question to President Mahama and the NDC government regarding the future of Inspector General of Police (IGP), George Akufo Dampare.
Speaking on Movement In The Morning show, he requested clarification on when the NDC government plans to either remove IGP Dampare from office or the hoodlums of the party thronging the Ghana Police Headquarters, to forcefully demand his removal from office.
Dawuro’s question stems from the fact that IGP Dampare was appointed under the previous government, leading Dawuro to wonder when the current administration will take action.
He cited recent incidents where NDC youth have threatened or demanded a forcefully removal of office, heads of institutions appointed by the former government including the Blue Gate, GRA, and Ghana Airport.
“Malik Basintale was bold enough to have said that he will ensure the removal of the CID Boss COP Faustina because he claims she’s a women organizer for the NPP”, Dawuro said.
” Is it because he belongs to the NDC so they cannot sack him”, he asked.
