Pollster Ben Ephson has advised former Trade and Industry Minister, Alan Kojo Kyeremanten to focus more on delegates between the ages of 23 and 35 if he wants to win the Presidential slot for the party.
Mr. Ephson who said he’s skeptical about the chances of Alan Kyerematen, said on Movement in the morning show on Movement TV/Wontumi Radio that the former Minister has to do more to convince NPP delegates to vote for him.
He noted that this is because majority of NPP delegates are young and hence he has a lot of catching up to do.
“Many of the NPP delegates may be younger than his generation and may not connect too well with Mr Kyerematen’s political weight. For delegates who are 30 years old and younger may not easily remember who Mr Kyerematen was to the NPP some two decades ago when he was in his prime, hence catching up is the smartest move”, he said.
“Majority of NPP delegates know the role Kennedy and Bawumia have played in the party, so Alan has to convince them if he wants to win,” he stated.
