Communications Director for Alan Kyeremanten’s campaign, Yaw Buaben Asamoa has debunked claims that Alan Kojo Kyeremanten resigned as Trade and Industry minister because he couldn’t deal with the economic crisis.
However, Mr. Buaben Asamoa explained that Alan Cash, as he’s affectionately called resigned because he needed ample time to prepare for his Presidential ambition.
He told Kwaku Dawuro in an exclusive interview on Movement in the morning show on Movement TV/Wontumi Radio.
“Alan hasn’t left the government he is part of because he doesn’t want to be there. It is because he wants to lead the party as the flagbearer in the 2024 elections. Therefore, he needed to put things in place, in order to have a fruitful campaign”, he stressed.
