Ghanaian defender Alexander Djiku celebrated Fenerbahce’s thrilling 3-2 victory over Konyaspor in a Turkish Super Lig match on Monday.
Djiku played the full match as Fenerbahce secured an important win away. Konyaspor initially took the lead with Pedrinho’s goal, but Fenerbahce equalized through Mert Muldur and went ahead thanks to Caglar Soyuncu. Konyaspor responded just before halftime with Blaz Kramer’s goal.
Dusan Tadic sealed the win for Fenerbahce with a goal in the second half. Djiku shared his excitement on social media, praising the team’s effort.
His strong performances have been key to Fenerbahce’s challenge for the league title, with the team closing in on leaders Galatasaray. Emmanuel Boateng of Konyaspor also played 83 minutes in the match.
