The Volta regional organizer, Korsi Bodja has noted that all the good roads in the volta region were constructed by the Akufo-Addo led administration.
According to him, one would have thought that the Volta region would have benefited much more during the tenure of the NDC since that’s their stronghold. But the narrative is different, as indigenes have benefited much more from the NPP.
Speaking on Movement in the morning show, on Movement TV/ Wontumi Radio, he told Kwaku Dawuro that there’s no way the NDC could compare their road networks to that of the NPP. Right from the tenure of our former President John Agyekum Kufuor till now, about 99 percent of all the good roads in the Volta region were constructed by the Akufo-Addo led administration.
“The only road network the NDC was able to construct is the Ho-Nkwanta Road and it was even a single lane road. But if you look at the progress of work on the Eastern corridor road now, you will be shocked- and it’s been done under Akufo-Addo’s tenure. There’s no way the NDC could compare themselves to the NPP when it comes to roads in the Volta region”, he stressed.
Adding that the construction of the dual carriage from Ho west, Hohoe, Afadjato that leads through to the mountain were constructed under the NPP.
In conclusion he said that the Sogakope, Aflao road is one of the besdt roads under the NPP.
