Are You Praising Basintale To Cover Up Your Wrongdoings At The YEA – Adomako Baafi to Kofi Agyapong

Former Communications Director of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Yaw Adomako Baafi, has questioned the sincerity of praises from former CEO of the Youth Employment Agency, Kofi Agyapong, to his successor, Malik Basintale.

Speaking on Movement in the Morning show on Movement TV, Adomako Baafi sought to understand the motivation behind Agyapong’s praises, wondering if it was a tactic to cover up his own past wrongdoings during his tenure in office.

Baafi expressed concerns over the recent attitude of some past appointees of the previous government, who have been raining praises on appointees of the new government. He cautioned them against praising their successors, emphasizing the need to defend the legacy of former President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo instead.

“If you have nothing to say about Nana Addo or praise Dr. Bawumia, then just shut up,” Baafi stated.

“Some of you have enriched yourselves and will be able to survive, but for some of us, we will face a lot of challenges while in opposition. Do not go out there if you have nothing to say to defend Nana Addo’s legacy,” he fumed.
