Editor of the Informer Newspaper, Andy Kankam, has revealed the sinister plot by the Chairman for the National Democratic Congress, Mr. Johnson Asiedu Nketia to get the incumbent Member of Parliament (MP) for Sagnarigu Constituency, AB Fuseini out from the house.
Mr. Kankam revealed to Gordon Asare-Bediako on Movement TV’s ‘B3 Kyere Mu‘ show that some minority MPs were not seeing face to face with their national party executives because of how they are treating them.
In Hon. Alhassan Bashir Alhassan Fuseini’s case, Andy Kankam stated that Mr. Asiedu Nketia is sponsoring an accountant who works at the party headquarters of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) to take his seat.
The development according to Mr. Kankam together with other factors, were becoming a stumbling block for both the national executives and MPs to reach any form of agreement.
He added that this was evident in the way some NDC MPs went against the party’s orders to approve six new ministers appointed by President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo recently.
“You Asiedu Nketia, you disrespect the MPs who are nurturing the constituencies with their own money and you go and sit there to intimidate them…There is an accountant at the party headquarters, you (Asiedu Nketia) have gone in for him to contest A.B. Fuseini and you expect that you will go and give a directive for A.B. Fuseini to respect you?” he quizzed.
Mr. Kankam sought to know from the national executives of the NDC if they would describe their MPs as bribe takers following the approval of the six new ministers appointed by the President.
“They accused the Haruna led leadership of taking money to approve Akufo-Addo’s ministers so we want to know what happened this time round”, he said.
