Asomaning Patrick Darkwa Applauds Free Education and Calls for Support of NPP

A member of the New Patriotic Party’s (NPP), communications team, Asomaning Patrick Darkwa has applauded President Akufo-Addo for the implementation of the free SHS policy.

In an appearance on Movement In The Morning Show, Asomaning Patrick Darkwa became visibly emotional as he expressed his heartfelt appreciation for President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo’s Free Senior High School (SHS) policy.

He credited the initiative with significantly improving the lives of many Ghanaians by providing broader access to education.

Reflecting on his own experiences, Asomaning shared a poignant story about a talented friend who, due to financial constraints, was forced to work as a palm wine tapper instead of continuing his education.

He emphasized that education remains the greatest gift parents can offer their children, and without the Free SHS policy, many young people in Ghana would likely have been relegated to informal jobs such as street vending or shoe repair.

Asomaning took the opportunity to thank President Akufo-Addo for his visionary leadership and urged Ghanaians to show their gratitude by supporting the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the upcoming December 7 elections. “Let us not fall victim to the idea that Ghanaians have short memories,” he said.

“We remember, and so did our forefathers. We must go to the polls in large numbers and vote for the NPP to express our appreciation to Nana Addo and Dr. Bawumia.”
