A former parliamentary aspirant for the Kade Constituency and Communications Team Member of the NPP, Asomaning Patrick Darkwa, has criticized Speaker of Parliament Alban Bagbin for allegedly prioritizing political interests over the welfare of the public.
According to Asomaning, the NDC has shown disrespect for security forces, the clergy, and the judiciary, and may attempt to disrupt the electoral process.
He urged NPP supporters to vote peacefully and emphasized the importance of continuing the Free SHS policy.
Asomaning questioned the viability of former President Mahama’s promises, stating, “If he himself says it won’t take four years to develop the country, then what exactly is he planning to do if he comes back to power?” His impassioned speech reflected strong support for the NPP’s educational reforms and urged Ghanaians to ensure the policy’s continuity by voting for the party.
