Ayawaso North MP’s Wife Orchestrate Attack on Me – Dr. Abass Ganihu Alleges

Dr. Abass Ganihu, a medical practitioner and philanthropist, has recounted a harrowing experience of being attacked by a group of hoodlums allegedly orchestrated by the wife of the incumbent Member of Parliament, Hon. Yusif Jajah.

According to Dr. Ganihu, the incident occurred on Friday at 3:30 pm in front of his shop, where several cars were parked. When he asked one of the drivers to park properly, the MP’s wife appeared and started insulting him.

About 30 minutes later, a group of approximately 40 hoodlums arrived at the scene, armed with weapons, and attacked Dr. Ganihu. They stole his money, physically assaulted him, and left him with bruises. The attackers allegedly claimed that “power has changed” and threatened Dr. Ganihu, stating that they knew the route to his house and would take further action.

Dr. Ganihu expressed concerns for his safety, stating that he had been warned by the attackers that they would retaliate if they came to power. He also claimed that the police were reluctant to take action due to the involvement of the MP’s wife.

Despite having connections that could facilitate retaliation, Dr. Ganihu emphasized his desire to maintain peace and avoid escalating the situation.

He shared his ordeal on the “Movement In The Morning” show on Movement TV with host Kwaku Dawuro.
