Banish Anyone Who Goes Against The Party’s Code Of Conduct- Kwame Appenteng (VIDEO)

A communicator of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP), Kwame Appenteng popularly known as Mero, has advised the party’s National Executives to dismiss anyone who goes against the code of conduct.

His comment comes at the back of the National Steering Committee’s decision to meet all Presidential aspirants over the adherence of the party’s code of conduct.

Speaking to Kwaku Dawuro on Movement In The Morning Show, Kwame Appenteng said, ‘’we pride ourselves as elites and believers of the rule of law. We need to go back to the days where we used to educate the youth in the party on the rule of law and the code of conduct. Once people know what the law says, and they go against the law, they must face the consequences. If the person is fined and he or she is unable to pay, they must be dismissed. We cannot have a party where the laws don’t work.  If Paul Afoko and Kwabena Agyapong were once suspended, it should tell you that no one is too big to be dismissed or suspended when they go against the law’’.

He further stated that if the party does not engage with party members, it will be difficult engaging with government. Mr Appenteng advised party leaders to be careful about the things they say or do because the youth are watching.

In a statement dated 17th of August,2022 which was signed by the General Secretary Justin Kodua, said Mr Hopeson Adorye, former NPP Kpone-Katamanso Member of Parliament (MP) hopeful and Ekow Vincent Assafuah MP for Tafo Pankrono have been invited to appear before the National Complaints Committee while Mr Kyerematen has been written to in respect of the health walk organised in his name.
