Government’s spokesperson on social services, Alhaji Fofana has said that the NPP doesn’t need a Presidential candidate but a President.
He explained that the party needs someone who could easily win an election for the party and not just a Presidential candidate.
“Going into such a crucial election like the 2024 elections, the NPP don’t have to only elect a Presidential candidate to represent the party just for the elections, but then needs someone who could easily lead the party into victory”, he spoke on Movement TV.
Adding that the government has implemented policies and interventions that would make the elections a walk in the park for the NPP. However, what is needed now is someone who could lead the party- one who could influence the masses to vote for the party, despite the propaganda of the opposition.
“We are all aware of who the winner for the flagbearership race for the NPP is. Across the entire world, everyone knows its Dr. Bawumia. He’s the best person to help the party realize its mantra of breaking-the-eight-year jinx. I’m saying this based on facts because I have engaged a lot of people and by the nature of my job, I travel a lot, so I know what I’m talking about”, he told Kwaku Dawuro.
“NPP doesn’t need a Presidential candidate after eight years, we need a President. He is the only candidate that Mahama fears”, he said.
