Be Serious As A Political Party- Adenta Kumi Tells NDC

A communications team member of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP), Alfred Ababio Kumi, has urged the NDC to exhibit seriousness as a political party.

According to him, all the political party does best is to make noise and throw tantrums against their opponents, when they are also not able to tell Ghanaians exactly what they are capable of doing.

He cited the electoral brouhaha that occurred in 2020 as an example, where the NDC petitioned the court over the election results, when in actually fact, they had not evidence to back their allegations.

“It’s stipulated in the constitution that the burden of proof is on the accuser. You went to court to challenge the election results, when you couldn’t even collate your pink sheet- forgetting that the court doesn’t deal with speculations but with evidence. This tells how incompetent they are as a political party.  It’s very funny when you hear or see them fighting over some of these things. They are not ready to capture power as a political party”, he told Kwaku Dawuro.

Adding that the NDC is never a serious political party and Ghanaians are aware of that.

“Throwing tantrums wouldn’t win you an election. You should have a message and once Ghanaians are satisfied and have hope in your message, definitely they will vote for you”, Adenta Kumi stressed.
