A presidential candidate hopeful for the governing New Patriotic Party (NPP), Dr. Kofi Konadu Apraku, has said that breaking the eight mantra is possible with him as a flagbearer for the party.
According to him, he’s placed in a best position that makes him stand out tall among his contenders.
“Having worked for the UN, the world Bank, the ECOWAS, the European Union and other organizations relating to the issues that are of great importance to our country today, has placed me in a good position. And I believe that, with the context I have built around the world, it has proven that you do not govern an individual, but you govern when you have others who are ready to support you”, he told Kwaku Dawuro in an interview on Movement in the morning show, on Wontumi Radio/Movement TV.
He notes that although there are many people grumbling over the current economic global crisis which is not peculiar to Ghana, he believes with the two more years ahead, the government is capable of turning around the fortunes of the economy although it’s a global crisis. A
