Morning show host for Movement In The Morning show on Movement TV, Kwaku Dawuro has chided former President Mahama for allegedly copying an idea from All People’s Congress (APC).
According to the broadcaster, former President Mahama’s “24-hours economy” policy was contained in the 2020 manifesto of APC and that is where Mr. Mahama had picked it up from and he’s claiming ownership of the ide.
“Funny enough, he wasn’t smart enough to modify the idea and make it unique from the APC’s. Yet, he copied wrongly and he’s unable to explain it better to Ghanaians. In Point thirty (30) of Hassan Ayariga’s APC’s 2020 manifesto, it was noted that the party intended to introduce a 24-hour economy, proposing a 3-shift system for companies and businesses. Interestingly, Mahama has also promised a 3-shift system as part of his 24-hours economy policy…”, he said.
“God been so good, you’ve been busted!! Mahama, you’ve finally been busted…you got no other political party to steal from, than a minority Political party…This is because you’re a specialist when it comes to stealing and copying of ideas..”, he stressed.
Former President John Dramani Mahama said that the next NDC government would put measures in place to encourage businesses in Ghana to operate for 24 hours.
He explained that the policy measure would include giving businesses incentives to operate both night and day; possibly in three shifts which means more jobs for the teaming youth of Ghana.
He added that paramount to the implementation of the 24-hour economy strategy is a police service that can ensure the protection of business during the night economy.
Dr. Bawumia has indicated that various sectors of the economy are already operating the 24-hour system and Mr. Mahama does not understand what it is.
