Member of Parliament for Adenta hopeful, and communication strategist, Kwame OB Nartey, has emphatically stated that had it not been COVID, Ghana would have been the star of Africa and in the world.
Speaking in an interview with Kwaku Dawuro, on Movement In The Morning, on Movement TV/Wontumi radio, OB defended the works of the current ruling government, President Akuffo Addo under the New Patriotic Party and how massively it has contributed to the improvement of Ghana. According to him, Ghana would have been at the highest rank, and would have outshined every country if not for the pandemic.
In response to the allegation of mismanagement of the country, OB said ”I think this is not the first time i have heard this, and you can’t write off the effect of COVID and other issues because it is not just in Ghana. Talk of the US, London amongst others, and It has been severe in London which i know about that because i have family members there.
The mismanagement is a propaganda. If we are looking for people who can manage the economy to its best, we all know so this is not a debatable conversation because we have the records available. But for COVID, Ghana would have been the star of Africa and in the world when it comes to economic prowess we have exhibited.”
