Chairman Akoko Debunks Rumors Of Money Rejection For Bawumia’s Nomination Forms

Chairman of the Bawumia Fun Club, Mr. Eric Twumasi Ankrah (aka Chairman Akoko), has debunked rumors of the rejection of money which was intended to purchase nomination forms for vice President Mahamadu Bawumia.

Reacting to the rumor in an interview with Kwaku Dawuro, on Movement In The Morning, on Movement TV/Wontumi radio, Chairman Akoko asked for the information to be disregarded stating that it was withheld due to an advice from the party office.

”It is not true, we went to Kumasi cultural center a week to us picking the form, to have a press conference regarding friends of Bawumia picking a form for our father Bawumia when the need arises. We went to Ghana commercial bank the day it was opened  to make payment, and proceeded to the party office to present the receipt to them for them to know we honored our word.

An advice came when we got there that Bawumia is a great person so it would not seem right to pick a form for him on the first day for picking forms. We decided to all join to pick the form on Tuesday, so everyone should disregard the rejection rumor and know that our money was accepted with a letter on the way,” he said.
