The Ashanti Regional Chairman of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP), Chairman Bernard Antwi Boasiako, popularly known as Chairman Wontumi, led a delegation of party executives and dignitaries to celebrate the birthday of the Deputy Transport Minister, Hassan Tampuli.
The celebration took place over dinner, where Chairman Wontumi and others gathered around a dinner table to mark the special occasion. In a show of appreciation, Chairman Wontumi poured water on the birthday celebrant, a gesture that symbolized blessings and good wishes.
A cake was also cut to celebrate Hassan Tampuli’s birthday, and several dignitaries joined in the cutting, including Gideon Boako, Personal Assistant to the Vice President and also the Deputy Director of Protocols at the Office of the Vice President.
Notably, the celebration coincided with the 30th-anniversary celebration of NPP-USA, but the party’s leadership still made time to honour the Deputy Transport Minister’s special day. This gesture demonstrates the party’s appreciation for Hassan Tampuli’s contributions to the NPP and his dedication to public service.
The warm and festive atmosphere of the celebration reflected the strong bonds of friendship and solidarity within the NPP’s leadership and membership. As they celebrated Hassan Tampuli’s birthday, they also reaffirmed their commitment to working together for the betterment of Ghana.
