‘Chairman Wontumi Is Better Than Anyone In Your Family’ – KOKA Slams Yaa Yeboah

Ghanaian entertainment pundit, Kwaku Osei Korankye Asiedu, popularly known as KOKA, has taken a swipe at MC Yaa Yeboah after she heavily criticised Chairman Wontumi.

During a panel discussion on United Showbiz aired on June 7, 2025, MC Yaa Yeboah harshly condemned Chairman Wontumi for making what she described as derogatory remarks against Vice President Prof. Naana Jane Opoku-Agyemang.

In a sharp rebuttal, KOKA, a staunch supporter of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP), defended Chairman Wontumi and questioned Yaa Yeboah’s moral right to criticise him.

“Sometimes we should learn how to talk. In terms of content and fact, you are a nonentity. You would like it if Wontumi was a member of your family. Wontumi has created a lot of businesses and he is a loveable person. Mention one person in your family who has reached where Wontumi is.

“Yaa Yeboah, imagine if someone from Wontumi and Movement TV says the same thing about Despite. Will you be okay? You think you are intelligent and wise to the point where you can criticise people. If the NPP foot soldiers come at you that mention any prominent person in your family, would you be able to do that,” he said.

While acknowledging that Chairman Wontumi is not without flaws, KOKA emphasised that his contributions to society should not be overlooked.

“MC Yaa Yeaboah what has been your contribution or impact apart from the noise you make? Wontumi is an Akan and I support him because I am also an Akan. He has his bad side but that should rule out the good things he has done.

“There are some things he has done which I am not in support of but sometimes watch the good things people do. I am not clean so I will not judge people. You are judging Wontumi because you think you have made it in life. If followers of Chairman Wontumi ask you to bring evidence to what you said, can you prove it? he added.
