In a heartwarming display of generosity, Ashanti regional Chairman of NPP, Wontumi has presented a donation of GHC 100,000 to Rev. Stephen Adom Kyei, leader of the Philadelphia Church, on behalf of Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia.
The presentation took place during the church’s Sunday service, where Chairman Wontumi emphasized the significance of sowing seeds and making covenants with God. He drew inspiration from biblical figures like Abraham, who thrived and developed a good covenant with God, opening doors to great opportunities.
“Just as Abraham offered a seed sacrifice to Methuselah and was that a year by that time he would have his own son. Just as there was another story in Matthew 9:18. We know that as we’ve come to you for prayers and have offered this seed. A year by this time, Dr. Bawumia will be the President of the republic” chairman Wontumi stated.
Chairman Wontumi also acknowledged Rev. Adom Kyei’s own covenant with God, stating that it was this covenant that had brought him to his current position. The donation was seen as a crucial seed, one that would help further the church’s mission and impact.
This gesture of goodwill comes as Dr. Bawumia continues to demonstrate his commitment to supporting various communities and initiatives across Ghana.
