The Ashanti Regional Chairman for the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Mr. Bernard Antwi-Boasiako, has strongly responded to Sammy Gyamfi for saying that the National Democratic Congress (NDC) would not welcome him into the party.
Mr. Antwi-Boasiako popularly known as Chairman Wontumi told Wontumionline.com that in the scheme of things, a “used toilet roll” is more valuable than the NDC.
“The NDC is full of witches and wizards and there is no way my spirit would be willing to join them. I am full NPP and I will remain NPP”, Chairman Wontumi said as he discredited the statement by Sammy Gyamfi.
Chairman Wontumi also advised the public to disregard news being spread by members of the NDC that his mining firm is responsible for the recent shoot out that went on in Asamang Tamfoe in the Eastern region.
“I don’t promote violence and my mining firm isn’t linked to what happened in Eastern region”, he said.
