A member of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) communications team, Ellen Ama Darku has said that the NPP Parliamentary candidate for Assin North is God’s sent.
Explaining that this is a man who has the wellbeing and development of Assin North at heart and as such, when granted the opportunity will bring development to the electorates.
“Look at what he’s been able to do, when he’s not even a Member of Parliament yet. Hae did all that when he hadn’t even thought of becoming a Member of Parliament. God has presented the constituents with another fine opportunity to elect another MP because the ousted MP has got nothing good to offer them and this is the time to elect someone who will change their lives and ensure they do not lack basic social amenities”, she told Oheneba Asiedu on Movement TV.
Adding that “Charles Opoku is God sent. The testimonies we have heard about him is an indication that he will be able to deliver beyond expectations when granted the opportunity. This is someone who has got no court issue to battle with. It’s 18 months more to elections 2024 and if Charles Opoku is elected he will change the narrative”.
She stressed that both Assin South and Assin Central have got Members of Parliament who have helped developed the constituencies respectively, and there was the need for electorates of Assin North to also elect an exuberate Member of Parliament who will help bring development to the constituency.
“There’s nothing better this old man(Gyakye Quayson) could offer He’s standing trial in court and that is why you need to boot him out”, she added.
