Johannesburg witnessed a historic moment as global music icon Chris Brown delivered an electrifying performance at FNB Stadium on Saturday night.
Playing to a sold-out crowd of over 90,000 fans, the Grammy-winning artist returned to South Africa with a show that was an unforgettable celebration of African music.
After years away from South African shores, Brown arrived to a hero’s welcome.
Despite earlier rainfall, the skies cleared just in time for the concert, setting the stage for an incredible two-and-a-half-hour performance.

Brown’s setlist spanned his illustrious 20-year career, weaving together iconic hits and new releases.
He opened the show with Angel Numbers / Ten Toes and Anxiety, later diving into beloved classics like No Air, Back to Sleep, and Wall to Wall.
A standout moment of the evening saw the artist performing an aerial stunt during Wall to Wall, drawing gasps and thunderous applause.

In a nod to local culture, Chris Brown’s DJ, DJ Fresh, infused the event with South African classics, including Brenda Fassie’s Weekend Special and the crowd-favorite Sister Bethina.
The playlist also honored late South African music legends AKA and Riky Rick.
